Our Music Specialist is Mrs Jessica Bushby

Sequenced and age-appropriate musical experiences aim to educate not only the eye, but the ear. Within the music program students build musical literacy by incorporating games, movement, the playing of instruments, and the reading and writing of music, with singing. Students are exposed to classroom percussion instruments, glockenspiel, recorder and guitar. Walliston Primary School runs a specialist Music program. Students attend music classes in our purpose build music room.

The school has a choir, that practice once a week.  The choir sing at special events eg ANZAC School Service, our Remembrance Day service, special Assemblies and also take part in other events outside the school when possible.
